Off 2 transforms your iPhone into a smart flight companion by tracking your position on an interactive 3D globe. Get real-time ETA, remaining distance, ground speed, and day/night crossing predictions — all working offline using your device’s GPS and barometer at cruising altitude, even in airplane mode. When connected to onboard WiFi, Off 2 reads aircraft position directly from the airline’s system for FMS-grade accuracy.

aircraft WiFi integration
When connected to onboard WiFi, Off 2 automatically detects and reads position data from the aircraft’s own systems — no configuration needed. Supported networks include Air France (Onboard, Connect, Freewifi), Viasat, and Panasonic Avionics. This gives you FMS-computed distance remaining, ground speed, and time to destination — more accurate than GPS alone as they follow actual airways, not great circles.
On Panasonic-equipped aircraft, Off 2 also displays headwind/tailwind speed, outside air temperature, and wind direction — meteorological data straight from the flight management system.
Apple Watch companion
Off 2 includes a full Apple Watch companion app with quick message buttons for crew communication. Send pre-defined cabin status messages — ARM, TKO, TRB, COF, 100, LDG, DIS — directly from your wrist via the peer-to-peer network.
